caviar art cod roe


The edible work, Relatively consists of appetizers with two types of canned fish eggs – one with cod roe, the other with caviar – representing each end of a value scale, while essentially being the same product. 

The work is consits of performative elements, baerii caviar, cod roe, fingerlime, avocado beautiful ship-shaped bases made by Restaurant Karoline Amalie and was part of my exhibition, Mediums of Exchange. Relatively was presented on two occations, where guest were instructed to try one of each. Interestingly the caviar servings were gone first.
